Just simply sign up and fill in the information about your site. Then, select your category and then browse through the hundreds of companies that are looking to place adds on web sites. Select your advertiser copy the for the ad, paste it on you site, and site back and wait. Now some advertisers may want to look at your site first before letting you post their ad and some will let you post their ads immediately. Tue, 22 January 2008 ![]() Between working full time, teaching a college course, and spending time with our son Eli; I have been trying to update the blog and write some new material for some upcoming podcasts. Yes, you heard me correctly...I am still planning on producing my podcast. Many of you have e-mailed me asking if I have given up on my podcasts. The answer is no, but I will need time to get back in the swing of things. For the time being. please keep checking the blog, because blogging is quicker some much easier than producing a podcast. You know, something that is web based so the contents can be accessed 24/7, from any location...even your favorite coffee shop. Well, today I learned of such a site, and like always, it is FREE. The service is DropBoks and their basic 1Gig storage is free. DropBoks is a simple web site, that is so easy to use and setup, it will amaze you. On top of that, your files are encrypted, authenticated, and secure. Currently the service only offers 1 Gig of storage and single user access, but are soon going to roll out upgrade in storage size and the ability to share content with friends. There are also plans to add a drag and drop feature along with multiple file uploads. Fri, 4 January 2008 ![]() To be honest, I am not a big fan of keyboarding software for elementary students, but I am often ask for suggestions and have to come up with something. Teachers want something that is affordable, practical and truly teaches proper keyboarding skills. Well, I have yet to really find anything that meets all three. The good news is that I have discovered a web based tools that may be a good start. The tool is Keybr.com which is a neat little Java based Web 2.0 tool that is simple and free. The site simply displays a a keyboard that wait patiently to be used. Click the keyboard and begin typing. This little web application shows your speed and accuracy.
