Wed, 30 May 2007 ![]() Here is another Web 2.0 tool that I have been using for a long time, Meebo. Meebo is a unique Web 2.0 chat tool that can be easily added to any blog, wiki, or web page. The great thing about the Meebo chat tool is that is allows you, the page owner, to chat with visitors that stop by your page. After you have added this tool to your page, all it requires you to do is log on to Meebo, and you will then automatically see any user or users that stop by your page. If you are logged in, the site visitors will see a green light on the Meebo chat tool showing that you are available to chat. I will be sharing more about this tool and other Web 2.0 tools in a future podcast, and like always, I will share some ways that this tool can be integrated into your classroom. If you want to try it out, my Meebo chat tool is located in the lower right hand column of this page. Category: general -- posted at: 10:30 PM Comments[1] |

Fri, 11 May 2007 ![]() The biggest motivation to podcasting is not only sharing a topic or topic that you love, but it is also getting know a little about those who listen. One way of doing that is by joining the TechTeacher Frappr. Please feel free to plot your location, post a picture, and tell a little about yourself. Tue, 8 May 2007 ![]() This is vidcast is a listener request. This is how to actually covert files with Zamzar. Have you ever wanted to convert a music file , video file, image file or a document file into different format? Now sometimes this conversion can be as easy changing the file type when saving, but more often than not, it may require using an additional conversion software. Wouldn't it be convenient if this could all be done with wither one program or a one stop solution. Well, ZAMZAR is that one stop solution. ZAMZAR can convert most of the popular file types either from a web site or from your computer. This can all be done with four easy steps. Comments[0] |
